Brush Art Nativity

Unique and delightful figures fill this Brush Art Nativity set which is completely handmade by local artisans in the Philippines. The long, thick stems of the Buri sugar palm tree (which is common in the Philippines) provide the fiber from which these Brush Art figures are made.  These strong fibers are processed in stream water, cut and twisted on a wire core into brush cylinders. Other natural materials (leaves, leaf fibers, seeds, and seed pods) and organic dyes for color are added to create one of the most charming nativity sets available today.  The nativity set the stable (13" x 12" x 8"), Mary, Joseph (6"), manger (wood & straw), donkey, sheep, shepherds (5"-6" tall) three wise men (6" -7" tall) and camel. This nativity has been a favorite of our customers year after year. Additional Brush Art animals are available to purchase for use with the nativity scene or as tree ornaments.
